The Newt’s getting double-teamed
The Newt editorial team has changed! Before introducing them, we’d all like to say a big thank you to Jake and the previous editorial team, for doing such a great job and giving us such classic articles as “Good Cop, Bad Cop on the JCR Committee” (writers: Ade Gray and Robin Moss), “New Constitution: Ethical Dilemma” (writer: Robin Moss) and “Good Cop, Bad Cop on the Newt” (writer: Robin Moss). A classic six editions.
But out with the old and in with the new. Your new co-editors are Ade Gray and Robin Moss. Both are fourth years, living in Weston (jealous yet?); Ade does sums and Robin quotes Locke, Kant and Rawls a lot. The news desk is now in the capable hands of Antonia Burrows, a second year PPEist and choral superstar. Features is the promotion former editor Jake Anders was looking for, and to cap off our trio of PPE second years, newcomer Yunnan Chen gets the coveted title of MAD editor. Callum West steps up to the plate as sports editor, and is already taking his responsibilities seriously, organising Newt gym sessions every Sunday morning. Finally, Alykhan Somji stays on as copy editor whilst Charlotte Hemmings is still giving you the mental workout that is the Newt crossword.
So, hope you enjoy the next six editions. And the usual plea: GET INVOLVED! Volunteer to do some writing, or at least come to our meetings. It’s fun. Promise.
